
ABOUT
Halle Frieden is a Mvskoke filmmaker and photographer based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Multidisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Management and American Studies, and a minor in Screen Studies.
Halle has worked on the award-winning film Killers of the Flower Moon directed by Martin Scorsese and for the FX Hulu show Reservation Dogs. She is the Video Producer for the Bob Dylan and Woody Guthrie Centers in Tulsa, OK, and freelances for multiple productions. She also has experience camera operating for a variety of sports on ESPN+ and web designing.
Halle has worked with professionals like Joy Harjo, Jason Isbell, Tom Morello, Noel Paul Stookey, Joyce Carol Oates, and NBA player, Lindy Waters III. She participated in the Cinetelechy Lab hosted by Atomic Culture and Blackhorse Lowe, and the Cricket Director Mentorship by Richard Janes.
After traveling across 17 countries, Halle strives to document stories of the human spirit, present and past, through collaboration with historians, archaeologists, and scientists. Halle plans on growing as a travel filmmaker and photographer to capture the many cultures around the world.









Halle’s films have been recognized in multiple festivals and events. She aims to tell stories that focus on expanding human curiosity and connection inspired by world history and pressing social issues.
